My stay at the hotel was truly a mixed experience. The rooms were very spacious and had that old-style charm with high ceilings, and they were comfortable and stocked with amenities like home-baked cookies and fruits. However, the one-bathroom facilities in the main block were appalling, and there were issues with hot water supply. On the bright side, our room had a great view of the lake, which we enjoyed.

The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful with our travel arrangements. They welcomed us with warm smiles, acknowledged our complaint promptly, and even upgraded our room. The location of the hotel was excellent, near attractions like the Chicken Church and Lam Vien square. The surroundings were truly gorgeous and added to the heritage site's charm. Witnessing the original hotel building as the centerpiece of the view was truly magical.
